How many stickers are in the Panini 2026 World Cup album? 980 — a record edition

·3 min read

If you're used to completing World Cup sticker albums, the 2026 edition raises the bar. The Panini 2026 FIFA World Cup sticker album contains exactly 980 stickers across 112 pages. It's the largest total ever — nearly 300 more than the 2022 album, which had around 670 stickers.

Why so many stickers?

It's simple: for the first time ever, the World Cup features 48 national teams instead of the previous 32. More teams means more players, more badges and more pages to fill.

How the stickers are organized

  • 20 stickers per team × 48 teams = 960 squad stickers
  • 18 players + 1 official team photo + 1 federation badge per page
  • Extra pages for stadiums, trophy, mascot and historic moments
  • Special foil stickers and limited editions

What about rare stickers?

Like previous World Cups, the 2026 album includes special foil (shiny) stickers and limited editions that traditionally become collector favorites and trade for high prices. Sticker swap groups are already getting organized well before the official release.

How to track your progress

With nearly a thousand stickers to collect, keeping track of what you have and what's missing becomes a mission. That's where the World Cup Stickers app comes in: point your camera at the sticker number and your digital album logs everything automatically, with progress per team, duplicates counter and a map to find swap spots near you.
